At first, I thought this was a joke:

Not a joke.

And I thought, ain't that the truth, buddy!! Ha! But a quick google map search told me that there was, in fact, a Boring, Maryland, and it is actually, very close to my parents house! (Where I'm currently residing!) How fitting!

Anyway, the good news is that I'm moving back into D.C. come March 1st. Yay! I heart D.C.! The bad news, this is not soon enough! I'm going to be missing out on all the hot inauguration parties! Bah! And before you say, why don't you just GO to D.C., you're not far away. Well, I just think it would be too hard to get into the city if I'm not already living here. Where to park and etc. etc? Oh well. I guess that's ok because I'm STILL unemployed and now I have a month and a half to get a job. I guess I can work at a restaurant or something after my classes end and I have nothing to do with my days. *Sigh* ...until I find that dream job. It probably wasn't a good idea to go shopping today! But that jacket was down from $108 dollars to $21! How could I resist?! $78 to $15?! A steal of a deal! Bah! I am ending this post in a frustated mood. Must re-work my cover letter!

Hi! I just thought I'd make this quick post of this project I did for my video editing class.

My only regret is wasting this gem on an over-night homework assignment when it could've easily been my final project. Damn!

Anyway, enjoy. Share with others!

Happy Belated New Year!

2009, yes!

So I'm looking forward to a good year. Full of possibilities, and hopefully continued health insurance. Speaking of which, my number one New Year's resolution is to find a new job. My second New Year's resolution is to write a more entertaining blog. What would you like? Some funny videos? Pictures of funny cats? I can do it!! But starting tomorrow. Let's take things slowly, ok?!

01.02.09: S'more Wars Calendar

This year's calendar features S'mores at war. A grisly depiction of the futility of war demonstrated by Chocolates vs. Marshmallows vs. Graham Crackers! A limited amount of calendars will be available online here! (Send me an email if they're sold out). Also, sorry for the watermarks. Gotta protect that intellectual property, if only weakly!
Please note that this year may contain sensitive material not suitable for children.

Yes! Back from the Christmas coma and with a 2009 calendar to boot! I got exactly what I wanted for Christmas, which was a Digital SLR camera. How did my parents know?! I didn't even ask! How intuitive of them! Good job. Also, this is good for you because it means better pictures taken for the craft projects! And pictures of me, of course! Anyway, I don't have all the months posted yet, because I wanted to keep the other pictures a surprise for those who said they wanted a calendar. However, I will post these two just to show you how nice the pictures come out from my new camera. And also, so you know what you might be getting into if you are purchasing a calendar. I've been told that it's more morbid than the last two... *shrug*

Oh, hi there. Long time no talky. Well, I'm sorry for the sparse blog entries and craft postings. Going back to school and working at the same time has been kind of time consuming... more than I thought it would be. But as it so happens, one of those things is no longer (hint: job). Now I'll have more time to devote to crafting and art and the likes. Yay for you! I have been working on a new calendar, but I don't think it's going to be mass produced like last time. However, here's a little sneak peak:

If you do want one, you might get after the start of the new year. I don't know how much it'll cost, since I'm just going to go to Kinkos/FedEx. Anyway, I must run and go to a gift exchange!

12.23.08: Incredibly Easy Screenprinting!

Sorry it's been so long since I've done a project. I've been working and going to school and keeping busy. But now I have no job! Crafts galore!
Hello! Here we will explore Incredibly Easy Screenprinting AKA how to possibly bootleg t-shirts AKA the cool thing to do since puffy paints became passe (how do I make that little e with an accent?!). Anyway! Let me just say that I've been using a photo emulsion method that requires so much time and work and stress, that unless you have complicated fine lines and a whole lotta detail, this is THE WAY to do things.
